In this seminar, interactive entertainment consultant Kevin Williams overviews the momentous developments impacting the extreme reality (XR), including mixed reality (MR), applications in leisure entertainment. He will look at how customer engagement through gamification is impacting  facilities such as visitor attractions, shopping malls, resorts, historic homes and activity zones – as well as the more traditional amusement arcade and family entertainment centre. This presentation will give examples of the various applications in interactive play in the XR landscape, and how they are being applied by real operations in these sectors. While looking at the technology and deployment, it will also reveal some of the new applications that plan to shape the future developments in our industry and beyond.
