David Yearley is head of play safety for RoSPA.  In the role he heads up a team of playground safety inspectors conducting thousands of playground safety inspections every year.  In this seminar he will explore the concept of risk taking in play, exploring why the provision of exciting, stimulating and challenging playgrounds is important for children. He will also look at how to manage safety in playgrounds in a way that maximises play value, whilst only providing as much safety as is necessary.
